AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience to deliver direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting, communicating effectively with the care team and patients’ families.

We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus, ESOP participation, comprehensive benefits, and shift incentives for night and weekend coverage. NM RN licensure, BLS and ACLS are required, with acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico.
• ACUTE care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the LTAC setting.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment responses.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, CCO/co-workers, and families about patient status.

AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus* for a FT Registered Nurse, RN for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience!
Ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.

Job Requirements
