Job summary

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Full Time Day Shift, Forensic Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.

This 18-bed unit operates with a 4:1 patient ratio, and the Forensic RN will administer medications, admit and assess patients, monitor vital signs, run tests, coordinate with physicians and specialists, and chart patient progress to ensure exemplary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current Tennessee RN license or compact-state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Education

• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
• BLS and ACLS required
