Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Forensic LPN in Nashville, Tennessee on a Med/Surg unit with an 18-bed capacity and a 4:1 patient ratio.

The role includes admitting and assessing patients, administering meds, monitoring vitals, coordinating care with physicians, and educating patients and families on health prevention and restoration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Current Tennessee RN license or compact state licensure.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS and CPI within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Admit and assess patients on the unit.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and patient symptoms.
• Order and run tests as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians and educators.
• Document patient progress and care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Forensic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Med/Surg in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.

As a Forensic RN, you will be responsible for:

• Admitting and assessing patients
• Administering medication and treatments
• Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
• Running and ordering tests
• Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists as well as educational programs as needed
• Charting patient progress and anything necessary regarding patient care
• Providing education to patients and family members related to health prevention, maintenance and restoration

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
• Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
