Job summary

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time Forensic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Med/Surg unit in Nashville, Tennessee. This 18-bed unit has a 4:1 patient ratio.

As a Forensic LPN, you will admit and assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, run and order tests, coordinate care with physicians and specialists, chart progress, and educate patients and families on prevention and restoration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
• Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
