Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System is seeking RNs for its Float Pool on the Night shift (12 hours, 7p-7a) in Georgia. Level 1 covers med/surg/intermediate care; Level 2 adds critical care units.

Candidates must have 18 months of med/surg/intermediate care experience; Level 2 requires 1 year of critical care RN experience. A licensed RN in Georgia with current BLS is required. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is also required, with supervision by Charge Nurse, Team Leader, Nurse Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience (Level 1).
• Minimum 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience and 1 year critical care RN experience (Level 2).
• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; current BLS certification.

Description

The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of 2 different levels: The Float RN Level 1 is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience.

The Float RN Level 2 is responsible for assessing. planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of nursing units including specialty areas in Critical Care. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience and one year of critical care RN experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.

Education

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
