Job summary

St. Mary's Health Care System in Georgia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across units with required med/surg/ICU exposure.

This position offers a sign-on bonus ($10K day shift or $15K night shift) and Day 1 benefits, with no call and no weekend obligations, and reports to the Charge Nurse/Unit Director.

Qualifications

• Must have med/surg/ICU experience.
• RN license in Georgia and current BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across units.
• Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience.

• The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of 2 different levels:
  The Float RN Level 1 is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.

  Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  Experience: Experience required

  Degree of Supervision Required: Accountable to Charge Nurse, Team Leader, Nurse Manager or Unit Director.
