Job summary

Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA seeks a Float Pool RN to deliver nursing care across units in accordance with hospital policy. May act as charge or staff nurse and supervise other nursing personnel ensuring quality patient care.

Job description

4 Years RN Related Experience, Preferred.
The Float Pool RN performs nursing duties in accordance with hospital policy procedure, may function as a charge nurse or staff nurse, and supervises other nursing personnel who are responsible for patient care. Capable of making independent decisions in the majority of situations and is therefore able to direct patient care that is provided by others. Serves as a resource to other employees. Is responsible and accountable for prescribing and coordinating all nursing care provided on the unit utilizing the nursing process.

Experience

Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses & Certifications

• Georgia Registered Nurse License and Alabama Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nursing License
• Healthcare Provider (CPR)
