Job summary

St. Mary's RN Float Pool is hiring Full time nurses for 12 hour day shifts in Georgia. Float Level 1 and Level 2 require 18 months of med/surg/intermediate care experience, with Level 2 needing additional specialty experience (Emergency, Family Birth, or critical care).

Licensure as a Georgia RN and current BLS are required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is necessary. Supervision is provided by Charge Nurse, Team Leader, Nurse Manager or Unit Director.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience
• Level 2 requires 1 year of specialty experience (Emergency, Family Birth and/or critical care)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in multiple units
• Provide care in med/surg/intermediate care and specialty areas
• Coordinate with charge nurse/team leader for optimal patient outcomes

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift

Description: The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of 2 different levels:

• Float RN Level 1: responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience.
• Float RN Level 2: responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of nursing units including specialty areas (Family Birth Center, ED and/or Critical Care). Must have a minimum of 18 months med/surg/intermediate care experience and one year of specialty experience, i.e. Emergency, Family Birth and/or critical care experience.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Current BLS certification required.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience: Experience required

Degree of Supervision Required: Accountable to Charge Nurse, Team Leader, Nurse Manager or Unit Director.

Full Time Days: 7a-7p
