RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Float Pool at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This role supports multiple ICU/ED units and requires strong clinical judgment and teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

You will work 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, float across ER, Observation, and Critical Care. An active NJ RN license, BLS, and 2 years of ED/ICU experience are required or strongly preferred; EPIC EMR familiarity is

• Two years of ED and/or ICU nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred; CEN and CCRN certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes early.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians to coordinate care.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR to ensure continuity and safety.

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Float Pool at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. With over 700 physicians and 2,100 employees, we offer advanced treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions. In 2017, the Medical Center completed a state-of-the-art campus expansion featuring a new four-story 87,000 square foot building with a private, 32 bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby, Retail Pharmacy, Patient Registration Area and newly expanded Emergency Department.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, and have 2 years of ED and/or ICU nursing experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is the following certifications – CEN and CCRN, and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. In this position, you will work 7p-7:30a and float across the ER, Observation, and Critical Care units.
