Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing compassionate care, and documenting necessary medical records. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a current state RN license, with Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days. Qualifications

  • Applicant must hold a current state RN license.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification needed within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
  • At least one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Document medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely QI assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

How you’ll contribute
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
