Job summary

Qualifications

  • Current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred.
  • American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons (ASLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
