Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy in Houston, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the inpatient nursing team. The RN will utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care, participate in interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient teaching for post-hospitalization.

ACLS and BLS are required; ACLS is required from day 1 for Charge Nurses and ICU roles. One year of inpatient med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment
• ACLS is required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct, and supervise care for patients on the nursing unit
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient teaching
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned
