Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Carthage, TX is seeking a Day shift, full-time Exercise Specialist Registered Nurse (RN). This role supports cardiopulmonary rehab program for inpatient and outpatient care.

The CES will assess and treat patients with cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, provide education, and contribute to wellness and quality improvement initiatives within a team-oriented hospital environment. Experience in cardiopulmonary rehab preferred; Texas RN license required; ACLS/BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN school.
• Current Texas RN licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• The CES provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients with Cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease.
• The CES will assess, plan, treat, and perform diagnostic testing on patients with cardiovascular/respiratory dysfunctions.
• Patients’ development and implementation are the primary function of the CES consisting of patient education, rehabilitation, wellness program, health enhancement and Quality improvement.
• The Clinical Exercise Specialist, RN is a valuable member of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team.

Job Requirements:
