Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Modesto, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to cover the night shift in the Emergency Department. You will plan, direct, coordinate, and provide high quality patient care using the nursing process, delivering individualized care to a high standard.

Minimum requirements include graduation from nursing school and a CA RN license. 2 years of ER/Flight/ICU experience is needed, with ACLS, PALS (for new grads within 6 months), TNCC, ENPC and NIHSS education modules to be completed

Reporting to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Minimum Education

• Graduation from Nursing School

• Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing/Flight Nursing or Intensive Care Experience

License/Certificates/Credentials

Must remain current at all timesCalifornia RN license; ACLS and PALS (New Grad only - within 6 months of hire/transfer), TNCC (New Grad or new to the ED - within months of hire/transfer). Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter.
