The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing medical emergencies. This role involves triaging, assessing, and providing immediate care in a fast-paced environment. ER RNs work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver rapid care for a wide range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life‑threatening emergencies. Assesses, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing care provided. Ensures provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through utilization of nursing process, established standards of care, policies and procedures. This RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to them.
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred: BSN.
Required: Current RN license in the State of Oregon. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certification required.
Preferred: Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred.
