Registered Nurse - Endo

Schedule: 6:30/7am Start Time, Call rotation required. Must be able to meet a 30 minute Call Time.

More About Our Team

Endoscopy provides care for a variety of patients and procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, bronchoscopy, and GI bleed procedures. We run 1–2 rooms several days a week out of the Operating Rooms with a 1:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.

Sovah Health – Danville is a 250‑bed academic community hospital with the region's only designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. How You Will Contribute

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
