Job summary

Centerpoint - Georgetown is seeking an Endoscopy RN to join our team in a full-time day shift. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality in endoscopy procedures within a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active Kentucky RN license, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications within six months of hire. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school required.
• ACLS, BLS & PALS certifications due within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care including meds, specimen collection and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient status to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.

Endo RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

How you'll contribute

An Endo RN who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we\'re looking for

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate\'s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associates Degree in Nursing, Required
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing, Preferred
• License: Current RN to practice in the state of (KY)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS & PALS- all within 6 months of hire
