Job summary

University Hospitals’ UH Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Nurse with 1+ year ED experience for a part-time role. Shifts include 7a–7:30p, 11a–11:30p, and 7p–7:30a with every other weekend and holiday. You'll work with nurses, providers, paramedics and care assistants delivering compassionate, efficient care.

Requirements include OH RN license (or multi‑state), BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required by unit. UH offers competitive pay, enhanced PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

Previous RN in ED preferred.
Ohio or Compact RN license required upon hire.
BLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Provides safe, efficient age-specific nursing care using the nursing process.
Delivers relationship-based nursing care and collaborates to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintains PHI per UH policies and participates in orientation guidance.

A Brief Overview

Previous RN experience in an Emergency Department highly preferred.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Other Accredited Program: Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
