University Hospitals’ Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH is seeking an experienced RN to provide safe, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to help patients and families attain and sustain optimal health.

The role requires full-time scheduling with 0600-2030 shifts, on-call rotations, and collaboration with the care team to achieve excellent outcomes. An ADN is required; BSN preferred, Ohio RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of nursing process and practice (required)
Proficiency with clinical equipment (eg stethoscope, thermometer, sphygmomanometer, electronic monitors)
Ohio RN license (Required Upon Hire) and BLS; ACLS/PALS per unit requirements

Job description

Schedule - 40 hrs/ week, 5 8s or 4 10s. Hours are 0600-2030, can be scheduled anytime within those hours- variable, no set schedules.

On call: 2 weekday calls (2030-0600), 1 weekend call, sat or sun, 0600-0600. 1 holiday on call (typically just 8 hours but could be 12)

30 minute response- call back time

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
