Lifepoint Health is recruiting an Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services at North Alabama Shoals Hospital. You will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ED, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and support patients and families through critical moments.

This role requires BCLS and an Associate's degree in nursing, with a preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing. We welcome new grads and offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Two–three years of experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

What we're looking for
