Job summary

Lourdes Health in Washington State seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift. The role features 12-hour night shifts (3x12s) in a Level IV Trauma Center with a multi-bed ED and robust support.

Eligible candidates will have ACLS, BCLS, PALS and a recent NIHSS assessment. The position offers a strong wage scale ($42.14–$78.11/hr) and a $10,000–$20,000 commitment-incentive bonus, plus shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• 1–3 years RN Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

You'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire
• 1 to 3 years of RN Emergency Department experience required
