Job summary

Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a full-time night shift in Beverly, MA. You will provide high-quality acute care in a Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 coverage and a diverse patient population.

The role requires MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and telemetry experience; PALS may be obtained after hire. BSN preferred; PTO, free parking, and competitive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Emergency Nursing experience strongly preferred.
• MA RN license, BLS, ACLS required; PALS can be obtained after hire.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level III Trauma ED.
• Monitor and triage patients and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with ED physicians and mid-level clinicians to coordinate patient care.

We serve as the primary point of entry for patients to access these services.The department is always staffed with engaged Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians and Mid-Level Clinicians 24/7, and a Children’s Hospital Emergency Physician during prime hours.The department consists of 33 private exam rooms within 3 separate zones to provide specialized care which includes: 2 major trauma rooms, 6 negative pressure rooms, pediatric rooms, fast-track, and a 10-bed secured behavioral health area.The emergency department can serve many needs, i.e., cardiac, pediatric, OBGYN, orthopedic, and respiratory emergencies.Security is stationed in the Emergency Department waiting areaA 3-room Triage staffed 24/7 by a nurse, and Medical Provider during prime hours.
