Job Description

Beverly Hospital is located in Beverly, MA, retaining its small-town charm while offering big-city amenities. Beverly is a postcard community located 35 miles northeast of Boston, highlighting all that New England has to offer and more.

The Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center, Gold Stroke Certified, and Emergent Percutaneous Cardiac Intervention Center, serving as the primary point of entry for patients to access these services.

The department is always staffed 24/7 with engaged Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians, Mid-Level Clinicians, and a Children’s Hospital Emergency Physician during prime hours.

• The department consists of 33 private exam rooms within three separate zones, including 2 major trauma rooms, 6 negative pressure rooms, pediatric rooms, fast-track, and a 10-bed secured behavioral health area.
• It can serve many needs, i.e., cardiac, pediatric, OBGYN, orthopedic, and respiratory emergencies.
• Security is stationed in the Emergency Department waiting area.
• A 3-room triage area staffed 24/7 by a nurse and medical provider during prime hours, utilized for rapid interventions and screenings.
• Triage nurses assign triage acuity levels for each ambulatory patient based on ESI.
• Ancillary staff includes ED Technicians, Administrative Associates, Mental Health Technicians, and Security.
• Behavioral Health emergencies are supported with BILH Crisis Screeners and Recovery Coach Supports.

Requirements

• Emergency nursing experience strongly preferred
• MA RN license; (AHA)BLS and (AHA)ACLS can be obtained after hire; PALS can be obtained after hire
• TNCC preferred; can be obtained after hire
• Telemetry experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Pay Range

$37.00 - $84.71 per hour

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The listed pay range is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time, governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
