Job summary

Memorial Home Services is seeking an Emergency Department RN in Jacksonville, IL. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive care for acutely ill patients, using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation, while supervising nursing staff assigned to groups of patients.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure, ACLS or progress toward it, CPR, and 2–3 years of ED experience; BSN is preferred. Sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS and CPR certifications required or within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or Trauma Nurse Specialist training to be completed within 2 years.
• 2–3 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive care for acutely ill patients in the ED.
• Utilize the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate care for patient groups.
• Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.

Full time$30.23 - $48.37***Sign-on bonuses up to $20,000.00*** As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive care of acutely ill patient. The Emergency Department RN provides care to all age groups through the proper utilization of the nursing process; assessment, formulation of nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of plan of care in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. The Emergency Room RN is responsible for supervising nursing staff to care for groups of patients.
