Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Women’s Health NP/PA to join a growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA. The role is 100% outpatient with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, no after-hours call, and an average of 15–21 patients daily.

The successful candidate will perform comprehensive histories and exams, provide prenatal care, and manage contraception implants while interpreting labs and tests. California licensure as NP/PA and WH certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health or related NP/PA experience; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of obstetrics experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all pregnancy stages.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Practice Information & Position Details

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
