Job summary

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 24-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role offers full-time or part-time schedules with nights or day/night rotation, and a weekend requirement every 3rd weekend.

This high-acuity unit provides mentorship and 24/7 intensivist support. Qualified candidates hold ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and active RN licensure; BSN or higher preferred, with critical care experience.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across routine to highly complex needs.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
• Coordinate interventions with other nursing team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

This position has a hiring range of USD $36.50 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
