Job summary

Tanner in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Decision Unit on the night shift. The RN will supervise other staff, assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes in accordance with Georgia nursing practice acts.

This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for external hires with two years of RN experience. Licensure and certifications required include GA RN license or multistate license and CPR; ACLS, NRP, PALS, and SCIPP must be completed by

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia or with a multistate license.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU if GI call; NRP within 1 year for Nursery/L&D; PALS within 1 year in PACU; SCIPP within 90 days for Willowbrooke.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel while delivering nursing care.
• Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Comply with the state nurse practice act and institutional policies.

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.
