Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing care for patients in Georgia, ensuring assessments, plans, and evaluations are carried out effectively. The role includes supervising RNs, LPNs, and assistive staff in accordance with state practice acts.

Required Georgia RN license (or multistate), CPR within 30 days, and programmatic ACLS/NRP/PALS/SCIPP timelines as applicable. This position emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration in ED, ICU, or related units.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license (or multistate license).
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/SSU.
• NRP within 1 year for Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within 1 year in PACU.
• SCIPP required within 90 days for Willowbrooke.

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

• Healthcare Provider (CPR) or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, SSU if taking GI call, or Cath Lab.
• NRP within one year of hire into Nursery and L&D
• PALS within on year of hire in PACU
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
