Job summary

Greater Valley Health Center is seeking a Clinic RN Lead to coordinate daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure patient safety in a busy primary care setting in Montana.

The role blends direct patient care with clinical leadership, emphasizing teamwork, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance to support a patient-centered FQHC mission.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license is required.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ambulatory or primary care experience preferred.
• Experience with eCW is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and patient flow, including walk-ins and triage.
• Support daily huddles and collaborate with staff to promote access and efficient care.
• Provide clinical guidance and oversee workflow with clinic staff and the Clinic Director.
• Monitor adherence to GVHC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Review safety events and communicate findings to the Clinic Director.
• Respond to patient concerns and support service recovery when needed.
• Oversee clinic inventory, safety checks, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to solve operational challenges.
• Provide direct nursing care including triage, injections, immunizations, IV therapy, venipuncture, and specimen collection.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a supportive team-based care environment.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic Lead

Greater Valley Health Center (GVHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) o join our mission-driven primary care team as a Clinic RN Lead.

As a FQHC, we are committed to improving access to high-quality, patient-centered care for eh communities we serve. The Clinic RN Lead plays an important role in that mission by combining direct patient care with day-today clinical leadership.

In this role, you will help coordinate clinical operations and patient flow, support and develop clinic staff, promote patient safety and quality, collaborate closely with providers and leadership, and help foster a positive, accountable, team-based culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who enjoys both patient care and helping a clinical team succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and patient flow, including walk-ins, urgent triage, nurse visits, provider communication, and staffing needs.
• Support daily huddles and collaborate with providers, clinical support staff, and front desk staff to promote patient access and efficient care delivery.
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and workflow oversight to clinic support staff and communicate performance or practice concerns to the Clinic Director.
• Monitor adherence to GVHC policies, procedures, clinical workflows, customer service standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review and investigate safety evens and clinical concerns and communicate documented findings to the Clinic Director.
• Respond to patient concerns and support service recovery when needed.
• Oversee clinic inventory, safety checks, and applicable clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and proactively identify solutions to operational challenges.
• Provide direct nursing care, including triage, patient education, injections, immunizations, IV therapy, venipuncture, specimen collection, and other procedures within the RN scope of practice.
• Promote clear communication, teamwork, accountability, and a supportive team-based care environment.

Qualification

• Current, active RN license in the State of Montana.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize clinical and operational needs in a fast-paced primary care environment.
• Pervious ambulatory or primary care experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with eCW preferred.
• Experience working in a FQHC or community health setting is a plus.
