Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver care across pediatric and adult patients surrounding surgical procedures. You will work under Providers, Acute Care Director and Charge Nurse, following the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes.

We offer strong nurse-to-patient ratios, teamwork, compassionate culture and opportunities for professional growth. Montana RN licensure is required; BLS/ACLS/PALS with 6 months to obtain.

Qualifications

• RN nursing graduate required.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Med/Surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Provides direction to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff as needed.
• Assists with care before and after surgical procedures and for a broad range of conditions.

Position Overview

Under direction from Providers, Acute Care Director and Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Hospital Nurses provide care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, and with a broad range of medical conditions. Gives direction to , LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff. Receives direction from Providers, Acute Care Director, Charge Nurse and CNO

Education

• RN nursing graduate, required

Experience

• No minimum requirement
• Med/ Surgical Nursing experience preferred,
• Pediatric Nursing experience preferred.

License/Certifications

• Montana RN Licensure, required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification to be completed with 6 months of hire.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures.
• Basic office skills, IV skills.
