Role Purpose

The Assistant Nurse Manager provides administrative support, including coordinating patient care, managing performance, equipment, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and professional development.
• Participate in staffing, revenue, and expense planning, and respond to business changes.
• Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions meet patient needs and are documented properly.
• Develop and implement care plans based on assessments and treatments.
• Support staff scheduling, payroll, communication, and staffing needs, including overtime and performance reviews.
• Ensure departmental productivity and operational goals are met, conducting performance evaluations.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety consciousness.
