Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CCU. This in-person position supports critical care with a focus on accurate assessments, interdisciplinary collaboration, and comprehensive care plans.

The role requires an active RN license, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience is preferred; residency and ASLS are mentioned in the posting.

The CCU team consists of highly skilled critical care nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary support staff dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Services include hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, cardiac drips, emergency response stabilization, and post-intensive procedural care. The unit is committed to promoting optimal patient outcomes while supporting patients and families through critical and complex healthcare situations.

How you'll contribute

ARegistered Nurse, RNwho excels in this role:

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferrednew grads encouraged to apply and will be supported through our 1 year residency program

ASLS certification preferred
