Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse in the SICU for full-time night shifts. In-person role supporting critical care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and documenting care to ensure medical necessity.

Active RN license required with an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. BLS due within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within six months. Residency programs available.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

How you'll contribute

ARegistered Nurse, RN who excels in this role:

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferrednew grads encouraged to apply and will be supported through our 1 year residency program

ASLS certification preferred
