Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cath Lab RN to join our team in a smaller hospital setting where collaboration and family-like culture are valued. Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that prioritizes patient safety.
• Formulates and revises individualized care plans based on patient response.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team and family.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer and discharge.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and condition.
• Advocates for patients' physical and emotional well-being.

How You'll Contribute

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
• Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

We have 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an 8 bed labor, delivery and post-partum unit, 16 Bed Emergency Department and Valley View Medical Center is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead City/Laughlin/Needles area.
