Job summary

Aurora Health Care is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Telemetry unit at the Aurora West Allis Medical Center in Wisconsin. The role offers opportunities for both newly licensed and experienced RNs to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care.

7 South: Cardiac Telemetry

Aurora West Allis Medical Center, West Allis, WI 53227

Our Patient Population

• 21 Bed unit providing care to Cardiac/Telemetry care patients.
• Diagnosis includes Cardiac Arrhythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis.
• Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and Telemetry.
• 7 South RNs are ACLS certified within 6 months with ability to respond to all in house Code 4 calls.
• Supportive learning environment, team approach, patient centric care to optimize patient outcomes.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Bachelor of science in nursing preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
