Advocate Health's West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI, seeks a Weekend Program Nights RN for 7 South Cardiac Telemetry. The role emphasizes nursing process delivery, evidence-based decisions, and a patient-centered approach on a 21-bed unit caring for cardiac conditions.
The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, BLS, and preferably a BSN; ACLS within 1 year is encouraged.
7 South is a 21-bed acute care unit providing care to patients with Cardiac Arrythmias, Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, MI, and Peritoneal Dialysis. Master skills in pharmacology, pathophysiology, laboratory value interpretation and cardiac telemetry. Leadership champions a supportive learning environment, team collaboration, and patient centric care which optimizes patient outcomes. Our unit RNs become ACLS certified within 1 year and provide response to all in house Code 4 calls. Find your heart with our cardiac patients on 7 South at West Allis.
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Newly Licensed RN’s and Experienced RN’s Welcome!
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Bachelor of science in nursing preferred
