Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team. The RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, with responsibilities including patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of conscious sedation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of Acute care, ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose Cath Lab functions independently as a member of our team of Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Interventional Cardiologists. Within our three procedure labs, the RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre procedure preparation and administration of conscious sedation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.

• Experience: 1-2 years of Acute care, ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.

Work Schedule

Full Time, 40 hour/day shift - 4 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (Rotating Schedule) This position requires On-Call - weekends/holiday rotation
