Job summary

El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ. The role features a 3x12 night schedule (7p–7:30a) with some weekend shifts and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

The RN will provide compassionate care, lead nursing duties, and ensure patient safety within a multidisciplinary team. Arizona license required; associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state RN license.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; de-escalation training or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings.
• Demonstrate leadership through duties such as group activities and close observation.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and patient care standards are met.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.

How You'll Contribute

A Behavioral Health RN who excels in this role:

• Assesses patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc
• Will also oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team
• RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• 21 years of age or older
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire
• Licenses: Must have a current Arizona or compact multi-state RN license.
• Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
