Job summary

Lifepoint Behavioral Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting. You will follow the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited BSN, ADN, or nursing diploma program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BCLS Certification.
• ACLS preferred.
• Minimum one year in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participates in discharge planning process.
