Job summary

Tanner Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse who performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and assistive personnel in nursing care according to the state nurse practice act.

The RN assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided, with one year of related experience and required licenses.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or multistate license.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 6 months for ED/ICU/Surgery/PACU/L&D/Float Pool.
• NRP within 6 months for Nursery and L&D.
• PALS within one year in PACU.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
• Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan and implement patient care, and evaluate effectiveness of care.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in nursing care per state act.
• Coordinate nursing care per state nurse practice act.

Licenses & Certifications

• Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications

• NOTE: ACLS within 6 months of hire into ED, ICU, Surgery, PACU, L&D, Float Pool (Critical Care and Maternity), SSU if taking GI call, Cath Lab or IR Lab.
• NOTE: NRP within 6 months of hire into Nursery and L&D.
• NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• Note: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.
• Qualifications as designated in Nursing Clinical Ladder Policy
