Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes.

• Collaborate with care teams during Baylor Weekend shifts and nights.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse performs nursing functions and supervises other RNs, LPNs, and other assistive personnel in the performance of nursing care according to the state nurse practice act. The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, plans and implements patient care, and evaluates the effectiveness of care provided.

• NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
• Note: BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• NOTE: SCIPP required within 90 days of hire into Willowbrooke.

Shift Description

The Baylor Weekend shift is every Friday/Saturday/Sunday or every Monday/Saturday/Sunday for 36 hours of work but will get paid for 48 hours (extra shift). The RN will work every weekend for a one year agreement. Up to 36 hours of PTO will be permitted every quarter.
