Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tulsa is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Nursing, the RN delivers and supervises patient care, coordinates interdisciplinary planning, and supports discharge processes for post-hospitalization needs.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state or a participating compact state, current BLS, and ACLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure accepted.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment and must be AHA approved.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

Job description

This is a full time status opportunity to work Baylor shifts! This position is required to work 36 weekend hours (12 hour shifts) and be paid for a standard 40 hour work week.

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
