Unit Overview:

The Nampa Women's and NICU unit is a very unique unit that focuses on Family Centered Care. The unit offers 14 LDRP beds, 7 paired with NICU, 2 ORs, and 4 Triage rooms, averaging 100 deliveries per month. Additionally, our unit has 8 NICU suites. We have highly trained and committed staff and providers. We focus on providing excellent patient-centered care through education, expertise, and teamwork in a safe and positive environment for patients, families, and staff.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead and support our nursing team. You’ll manage daily operations, guide staff development, and ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

    • Generally scheduled as 3x12s

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience: 3 years nursing experience; L&D or LDRP preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: RN license and BLS certification required
  • Helpful Skills/Knowledge:
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Commitment to patient-centered care
    • Experience resolving conflicts and guiding team development
    • Knowledge of hospital regulations and nursing protocols
    • Experience with Epic and TASS (timekeeping/scheduling)
