An established industry player in healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for their Ambulatory Infusion Therapy unit. Position: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Outpatient Infusion Therapy, 205 N. East Ave, Jackson - Anderson Building
Schedule: Contingent - 1-2 days per week, Monday - Friday, with 1 weekend requirement per month and 2 half-day holidays per year. Self-scheduling available.
Clinic Services: Provides non-oncology infusions such as IV hydration, iron, blood administration, and specialty infusions for Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Osteoporosis, and Endocrinology.
Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 1 year RN experience in inpatient or outpatient settings. Experience with infusions and IV procedures such as peripheral IVs, port access, PICC line dressing changes, etc.
Work Environment: The clinic boasts a positive, team-oriented culture, excellent nurse/patient ratios, a unit-based council, and Magnet recognition.
Responsibilities: Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, participate in problem-solving, and ensure care standards are met. Contingent unit-based role reporting to the Unit Manager/Director, fulfilling all RN accountabilities.
Education & Experience: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. BSN required; if ADN, willingness to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years and obtain BSN within 5 years. Recent clinical experience (1-2 years) with demonstrated performance.
Licensure & Certifications: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BSN required.
