Full-time - Nights (7pm-7am)

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, safe patient care tailored to individual needs. They work in a clinical environment supported by Nurse Managers and the Wellstar Shared Governance Model, guided by the Wellstar Professional Practice Model and evidence-based practices. RN competencies align with these models and are supported by Wellstar Values.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and families, utilizing effective communication methods such as bedside reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Follow current clinical standards and practices.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through effective documentation and communication.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.
• Complete required competencies and serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in research activities.
• Support resource management and care planning across the continuum.
