Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for an evening shift on our behavioral health units. You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate and delegate nursing tasks, perform shift assessments, and support patient safety.

This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 with a two-year commitment. Overtime opportunities and occasional weekend coverage may be required. Part-time options are also available.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with Roxbury Treatment Center's philosophy and objectives.
• Prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care.
• Complete nursing assessments and document care and patient progress each shift.
• Facilitate medication administration activities following safe practices and patient education.
• Respond to crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
• Attend Treatment Team to aid in developing patient care plans.
• Oversee and direct mental health technicians in patient care activities.
• Be accountable for allocated nursing care on a shift basis and promote professional nursing practice under the Nurse Manager/DON.

This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient 8-hour Evening Shift (02:30pm-11:00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday.

There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for up to a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus for a 2 year commitment!

Registered Nurses will work on our Adolescent, Adult Mental Health Units OR Substance Use Disorder Unit

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care
• The Registered Nurse completes nursing assessments and documents care and progress of the patient each shift
• The Registered Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education
• The Registered Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety
• Attends Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plans
• Oversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activities
• The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• The Registered Nurse may also assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required.
