ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 3 Medical Observation Unit (3MOU). This 8-bed unit cares for adult observation patients with diagnoses such as stroke, chest pain, and syncope, in a fast-paced environment with rapid turnover.

The RN will provide direct patient care on 3MOU and may cross-train on 3 West, Wilmington Hospital's cardiac care unit, to gain diverse clinical experience.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of RN experience.
• DE RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS required.
• BSN preferred or commitment to obtaining BSN within 3 years of hire.

ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our newly renovated Medical Observation Unit.

Unit Information

3 Medical Observation Unit (3MOU) is an 8-bed unit dedicated to the care of adult medical patients admitted under observation status. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to, ruling out stroke, syncope, and chest pain-conditions that require further evaluation and testing beyond the Emergency Department. As an observation-only unit, 3MOU offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment characterized by high patient turnover. The average length of stay typically falls between 12-32 hours. Patients who require inpatient care will be transitioned from 3MOU to the appropriate inpatient unit.

Team members on 3MO will also have the opportunity to cross-train on 3 West, Wilmington Hospital's 9-bed cardiac care unit. 3 West focuses on the care of short-stay patients with primary cardiac diagnoses, offering staff a diverse and enriching clinical experience.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• DE RN license or Compact RN license.
• BSN preferred or the commitment to obtaining a BSN within 3 years of hire.
• All applicants must have two years of RN experience.
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
