Job summary

Sunset Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Missouri. The role provides night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM with a $2.00/hour shift differential and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates, paid over 12 monthly installments.

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Valid Missouri RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care exceeding standards and initiates individualized care plans.
• Assesses and documents resident condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns care tasks to team members per resident needs and qualifications.
• Administers medications and starts IVs as needed.
• Maintains equipment and supplies in a clean, safe condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay, Benefits and Perks of Registered Nurse (RN):

• $15,000 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidate! Sign-on bonus is paid out over the course of 12 payments, which occur monthly.

• Starting pay rate is $35 / hour plus we pay for experience!

• Night Shift Differential Pay is an additional $2.00 / hour!

• Paid Time Off (PTO+) added to your balance after 30 days of employment; immediately accrue more PTO as you work! (full-time only)

• Earn PTO+ for every quarter of perfect attendance (full-time only)

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing

• One year of nursing experience is preferred

• Valid RN license in state of Missouri

• Valid CPR certification

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
