Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in Steelville, MO. You will provide high-quality nursing care, assess and document residents' conditions, and administer medications with accuracy and compassion.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for qualified full-time hires, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing.
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents residents' condition and nursing needs.
• Administers medications and starts IVs as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document care provided and residents' responses in charting systems.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Available Night Shifts:

• Days 6:00am - 6:00pm
• Nights 6:00pm - 6:00am

Essential Functions of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspects of nursing
• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards
• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications
• Administers medications
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents
• Documents that treatment as required
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Registered Nurse (RN):

• Valid RN license for the state of Missouri
• Valid CPR certification
