Job summary

You will work within policy, ensure privacy, and provide emergency CPR when needed, while guiding nursing staff to maintain high standards of care for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months’ rehabilitative and restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with nurse practice act and facility policy.
• Plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct residents' plan of care.
• Be familiar with and follow facility policies and privacy rules.
• Provide prompt emergency support including CPR.
• Oversee nursing staff and nursing aides to ensure policy compliance.
